We recently added 10 cheviot/katahdin sheep to our flock.  Our breeding flock is currently made up of one katahdin ram named Mister, 2 katahdin ewes that are currently nameless, and 2 leicester ewes named Anna and Elsa.  Thanks, Disney.

We are planning to slaughter most of these new lambs in December but may hold a couple of the runty ones until spring.  There is one that everyone on the farm has fallen in love with for her fluffy wool and cute spots.  She may escape the slaughter.

Typically, we have lambs in the spring and with Anna and Elsa the lambs were large and healthy.  We look forward to seeing what the katahdin ewes produce this next spring.
